Enjoy hours of family-friendly fun such as a pumpkin patch, barrel train rides, carnival games, inflatable attractions and much more. The beer garden will feature a home-brew competition to find the best local Marzen-style beer. For the kids, there will be root beer and ginger ale tastings.
As evening falls, guests may choose to enjoy haunted tours of downtown Stanardsville. Tour-goers will visit the town’s historic cemetery, prison, Civil War hospital site, saloon and more while learning about the colorful, and sometimes dark, past of our fair town. Guests will learn about the great jailbreak, the hanging judge, and the one-legged soldier among other haunting tails as told by our tour guides. Comfortable shoes and flashlights are encouraged.
General admission to the event is free; however, there is a $10/person charge if you wish to enjoy tastings in the beer garden. Tasting glasses and wristbands will be available at the entrance to the event. Tour guides will also solicit donations from tour goers to support their conservation and operations activities.
