Malt and Moonshine

World-renowned Scottish fiddler Paul Anderson, accompanied by his wife, Shona, headlines the Malt & Moonshine concert in Stanardsville on Saturday, December 9th at William Monroe High School’s Performing Arts Center. The two-hour musical event will begin at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance at Noon Whistle Pottery (328 Main Street, Stanardsville) or beginning at 6:00 pm when doors open.  Cash or Check only.  The program will also include Alex Caton and Pat Egan, playing and singing Irish music, Old Time music, and Americana, Jude Christian and Stu James singing mostly Irish ballads, and Maggie Muggins, a five-piece American string band performing American Old Time music. The Blue Ridge Irish Music School dancers will join the musicians on stage.  Malt and Moonshine is sponsored by the Art Guild of Greene, Noon Whistle Pottery, and Greene County Tourism.
